Hey Gang,

I just got into San Diego this afternoon.  I forgot how beautiful it is here.  I used to live here in my young 20’s.  I got my rental car (economy).

Checked into my hotel.  It is very old school looking but kind of cool in a funky kind of way.   It has been raining so that has been a bummer.  I drove to an Alberton’s to get some groceries.  My room has a fridge!!  Woo Hoo!  No gym though, but I brought my P90X DVD’s so hopefully I can do a little something.  Also I am hoping to get a run on the beach in for a couple of the days I am here. 

Another cool thing about this area, is there is a restaurant called, “Tomiko” in Encinitas.  It is a little bit of a drive, but I am going to go and check it out.  It has been a long time since I have been there.  They got tomiko.com 6 months before I looked for that.  I found out that the woman’s daughter’s name is Tomiko.  Now you know why I don’t have that name and it is tomiko1.com  lol

I will be shooting with Kasie Cavanaugh tomorrow.  She is a really cool chick and super buff.  We have worked together before, and I am really looking forward to working with her again.  One of the reasons I came out to San Diego was to work with her again.  The other part of me just wanted to get away a little and try and relax.  I have some other shoots going on, but for once, it won’t be all work.  I can actually go to something for myself to relax.

I will also be working with Earl on Monday as well as a photographer from the past.  Been a long time!

I was hoping to find a comedy place here.  There used to be an Improv in PB.  The question is it still there?  Guess I will have to do some investigating.

I am going to head to sleep.  I will be blogging every night so you can get a play by play on my San Diego trip.  It is so nice to have a little time to myself for a change.
