I just got home from Los Angeles to see my friend that got diagnosed with MS. I am so full of grief, but at the same time, I want to fight this thing. I am going to do the MS ride in September. If you want to donate money and sponsor me, here is the link:

I will also be posting it on my links section on the right of my blog. Even if it is $5, every little thing helps. My friend is only 32! There is no cure for this disease, but I am hoping that they money I raise will help speed up the process in finding a cure.
Let me tell you a little something about Erika.
I have known her for over 15 years. She has been a constant light in my life and has always been there for me through bad and good times. She is genuine, intelligent, warm, loving, beautiful, funny, street smart, full of life, courageous and the list just keeps going on. I want to do whatever I can to help her. She is a part of my heart.
I am not going to let this disease beat her.
On another note,
I am leaving for Ireland tomorrow and will be sure to share pics with you. I have to tell you, it will be good for me to go because I think I can do some thinking and reflect. I have been doing a lot of thinking about my life and just how precious it really is. I think we take life for granted sometimes, but when things happen in your life unexpected, it really can make you think.
I love you guys. Thanks so much for listening.

Sorry I’ve been awol for awhile and hadn’t read this till now although I have heard about your friend. So sorry to hear about that. Hope she makes it through it, if not all the way then with as little suffering as possible.
Also hope you had a good time in Ireland. My sister lives in England and maybe I’ll get to visit her there one day.
