I'm also sorry to hear that the airline lost your bags. Be glad it was just your bags. 3 years ago my father, may he rest in peace, went on a trip and suffered a medical problem and fell exiting the plane. Airline personel put him in a wheelchair and wheeled him to the gate on his boarding pass where his next flight was to depart. The departure gate was changed and my Father was left at the other gate for 2 hours alone before anyone realized he was there. When he finally got home he was in really bad shape. I read through your old blog entries and saw a few months back that you were in Oregon. Wished I had known and been in the area you were. It would have been nice to meet you. It would have been even nicer if I could have afforded to wrestle with you and experience how many times you "forgot" that my frantic tapping on your legs was NOT a sign to tighten further.
